Exclusive Interview with Creators of 'Sheregeshka Yetik' Project

Recently, the premiere of an animated project about a kind snow hero — Yeti, who, according to legend, lives in the mountains of Sheregesh, took place on social networks. Today we have a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the cartoon creation and talk to its authors.

Good day! Tell us about your project? How long have you been passionate about mountains, snow and Sheregesh?

Good day! Our names are Ivan and Alexander, we are the creators of the Sheregeshka Yetik project.

Ivan: "Since I was born and grew up in Tashtagol, I have known and loved Sheregesh since childhood. I was there back in the distant 90s when the number of buildings could be counted on fingers and there were one or two lifts".

How did it all start, what prompted the creation of the community and stories about the favorite resort?

When Sheregesh began to actively develop, in 2014 we had the idea to create a character embodying the ski resort. At that time, the governor of the Kemerovo Region was actively promoting the idea of a snowman. But ordinary yetis are scary and big. So we wanted to come up with one that everyone would love. Thus, an unusual little cutie turned out. The name itself was formed from the name of the resort and the yeti - Sheregeshka Yetik.

Can you reveal the authors of this project? Do you have a large team of like-minded people?

Our team is small - Ivan and Alexander. We are entrepreneurs in Myski and Novokuznetsk. Alexander works in advertising and printing, and Ivan is engaged in electrical installation and construction.

Did AI help in creation? Animation, music?

More than 20 artificial intelligence platforms were used for animation and voiceover during the creation of the cartoon. The whole process took about 6 months.

Do you plan continuations?

We have big plans to continue the project. The idea is to release a whole season. In the next episodes there is much more interesting, even newer and we are sure that we will very much surprise the viewers with an unusual and original continuation!
